My Selection for Waiting on Wednesday: All You Desire by Kirsten Miller

Book Two

It's been a while since I've posted a Waiting on Wednesday choice and I've certainly missed it. You know how it is, life outside of the electronic one, takes over. I made a special effort to make it back this week! There are so many good books out there...too many in fact. I'll never get them all read, but I do my best. WoW was started by Jill over at Breaking the Spine and it's a great way to learn what are the highly anticipated reads.                                                                                   

This week, I'm looking forward to All You Desire by Kirsten Miller. It's the second book in The Eternal Ones trilogy which is out in paperback this week. This book holds a special place in my heart because it's the first ARC I ever received and I got it directly from the publishing head, Ben Schrank while attending a writers conference. This YA series has an original spin as it deals with two lovers struggling to be together through time and reincarnation is a big hook in the plot. Let's see where book two, All You Desire picks up the story...

Haven Moore and Iain Morrow have been living a blissful life in Rome, an ocean way from the Ouroboros Society and its diabolical leader. But paradise is not to last. This is a bit of a re-cap. I reviewed this book in the winter, long before it was released. Now that's it's in the stores, I want to remind you about it again. I received this ARC from Ben Schrank, president and publisher of Razorbill, an imprint of Penguin during the Winter Conference of the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators (SCBWI) in New York. He was gracious enough to make a few available and I am grateful that he did.

Prior to receiving this ARC, I was unfamiliar with the author, Kirsten Miller. I am now aware that she has written a critically-acclaimed series called Kiki Strike. I believe THE ETERNAL ONES is going to be her break out novel.

Wow. Where do I begin. This book is chocked full of so many delicious twists and turns, it will keep you riveted to your seat, and quickly turning the page to get to the bottom of all that is going on. Let me begin with the blurb on the back.

There are so many great books coming down the pike, honestly, I wish I had a job in which I got paid to do nothing, but read books--then write about them! I've received some really great novels over the last few weeks.

With the exception of MINDER, which I'm in the midst of reading and is available now, the other books you see here will be releasing in August, September and October. I'll be posting reviews on all, and giveaways of some of the books.

I'm enjoying MINDER so far and I couldn't resist starting HALO. Oh my goodness, can you say awesome?! This teen author is going places! Anyway, I've got tons of books to read and review as well as continuing to revise my own novel and do some more traveling, whew! It's a busy summer. Hope you all are enjoying yours.
